Each AfriCamps tent consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge, and spacious deck.

Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with cutlery and crockery for five guests. Appliances include a gas stove, microwave, kettle for the gas stove, toaster, washbasin and a fridge. Dish soap, a kitchen towel and a sponge are provided. We kindly ask that you clean the dishes you use during your stay.

Bedrooms

Both bedrooms have an extra-length queen size bed, with crisp clean linen and an electric blanket. The second bedroom has a single bunk bed above the queen size bed. Both bedrooms have ample storage space, air conditioning and access to the spacious bathroom.

Bathroom

The bathroom consists of a spacious hot shower, washbasin and flushing toilet. Towels are provided, but please bring your own toiletries.

Dining and lounge

The dining area consists of a large dining table and five chairs. The lounge consists of a sofa, coffee table and indoor fireplace.

Deck

Enjoy the magnificent views from your deck. Each deck has a picnic table, two comfy deck chairs and a built-in braai. This is where our guests spend the most time, connecting with family, enjoying their meals or gathered around the braai. Open your tent panels fully to create a large open-plan living space!

Braai

Each tent has a built-in braai on the deck. Braai your favourite meals – from sizzling steaks to marshmallows, or order our ‘cook-your-own’ braai baskets. We supply all the utensils you need.

Outdoor wood-fired hot tub

Our signature outdoor wood-fired hot tubs, next to five of the 10 tents, add that extra touch of luxury to the AfriCamps glamping experience. It is the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the views. It is also a hit during the hot South African summers when used as a splash pool.

Heating and cooling

Each tent has an air conditioner, indoor fireplace and electric blankets to make sure your stay is warm and cosy during winter. The air conditioner is a much-needed luxury during the hot South African summers.
